Just a reminder to adjust all of your ancient clocks ;)

And because I was so kind and considerate, I'm allowed to spam my blog for shits n' kicks.

$^#%@ Daylight savings time - I hate this time change BS. Why can't every state be like Arizona and never change their time?

"Daylight Savings" is the ultimate Nerd Revenge - some socially dysfunctional misanthropic egghead said to himself, "how can I fuck up the largest number of people for the longest time possible? A-ha! I'll throw off their internal clocks twice a year and totally mess up their circadian rythms! Payback for all those wedgies in school, bwaahahahaaaa!"

Fucking science nerds. Get laid already.

If we're going to keep up this Daylight savings crap then we should at least start it on Saturday so we have the whole weekend to recover.

Kudos to Arizona (and there's one other state too...?) for saying this is fucking stupid.

My brother was an hour late to work this morning because he forgot about DST. I miss Arizona because of their refusal to participate. That one reason is almost enough on its own to make me move back. Did you know that in the 70's they once declared DST would last the whole year? WTF is the point of that?

I agree, changing it on Sat morning, would make a lot more sense.

I would LOVE to go back to AZ, no time change, no snow, no winter weather of any kind.

That no snow or winter weather thing entirely depends on what part of the state you're in. Arizona is typically thought of as entirely being a desert. But it has all the major biomes, or climate regions. Flagstaff/Sedona area has quite a blustery, snow-filled winter.

I moved on a whim, actually. And it's not that I dislike where I am now. But Arizona has so many things going for it. Not the least of which is its homeschooling laws. All parents are legally required to do is send in a letter informing the state of their intention to homeschool when their child reaches the age of five or six.

Let's just sum this up by saying that moving for emotional reasons is a poor choice.

I agree, and i believe the other state is Indiana.

It's actually Hawaii (they don't need it due to being so close to the equator)

Arizona chose not to observe DST anymore because they said it wouldn't make better use of the daylight since it gets so hot the in the majority of AZ cities.

I'm in the PNW and I welcome the extra daylight!

Ohio here and I love it.

EGGXACTLY.

I've got BEEF with these farmers and the CROPPY time zones.

They MILK it twice a year while the rest of us get BEETS.

True true, North vs South AZ is a big difference. Spent my last 5 years in Tucson, saw snow there ONCE in those years. Miss the big city, in the middle of freaking nowhereville IA now.
