Flame away but I have no patience for adults that can't use a computer. I try, I really do but I would rather chew nails. My boyfriend is 44 and decided randomly that he wants to be on Facebook. Where he heard of Facebook I don't know, he has always looked at my computers as if they were bewitched TVs. (really) He has no idea of what I do online to make money... actually he doesn't understand what the internet is. All he knows is that money appears in my bank account (more witchery.)

He's a good guy, been together 5 years but this is beyond the normal generation gap/cultural differences stuff I have to put up with. Am I a total bitch for not wanting to help him? (yes) I just think he wants to do it because he's jealous so why should I help him? Fuck that. Y'all are men, do I have some kind of obligation here? /bitching

Not to be too harsh, but stop being a bitch. If everyone had the same level of patience for for people that didn't know particular things or how things worked as you do, no one would learn fucking anything.

There is also the aspect that he is the type of person that most marketers want online...

Personally, I'd send him down to a local library to take some free computer classes on the weekends. Then take the 5 minutes to set him up on FB, but don't waste time answering questions - instead introduce him to Google.

At the end, you'll at least have a BF you're not ashamed of, and he should have more appreciation for what you do to make money.

Or save yourself some time and dump him. Sounds like a retard, not just a techtard.
