Yeah I thought it was kinda weird too but the biggest reason for me to get that instead of the S2309 was the ergonomic stand and it was only 20 bucks more so the contrast and resolution was a nice bonus!

Still, I'd spend the $50 more and get one with the adjustable stand. It's turned out to be a huge advantage.

Just looked at it in more detail and it's not a great deal after all.

First off, its a Refurb and the total price with S&H ends up being $185.36 so I'd go with something from the Dell website to save on shipping and get something actually new.

I've got a dell 24 at work and it sucks. The screen has a blue cast that gets progressively worse from the center of the screen up to the top, more on the left side than the right. I think I'm going to swap my cinema display back even though it is a little smaller.
