Did Rick Rolling really start at Wickedfire?

Ive seen several people say stuff that implies that RickRolling started on Wickedfire, as in, first spot it appeared...

Is this just a brag? or is it true... it would be cool to see the actual post that started this wild fire.

Im sure there are several opinions on this...

Then he said he couldn't believe that adults on a professional forum did it too.

Of course, I was surprised that he knew about it because I was under the stupid impression it was a WF thing too.

Whilst I agree 100% about don't go to 4chan, really, that's just /b/ section.
There are parts of 4chan that aren't full of lame.

However, as a general rule, this is the general make up of 4chan

doubt it. 4chan more than likely pushed it ahead. and yea, 4chan is pretty horrible, but they produce so many funny gifs.
 
well shit now I want to go to 4chan just to see what the hell you guys are talking about.
