Disappointed in EWA's AMs

Hey, sorry I missed this until so late. Not every account manager works with everyone - I'll gladly switch you into someone that will actually care. Just shoot me an email (ryan@eaglewebassets.com) and I'll resolve it immediately.

I don't know which account manager you have, but two of them are out on vacation and we've been doing some restructuring lately. It's embarrassing for me for things like this to arise and I take it very seriously. I put my life into making EWA what it is and my account managers are direct representatives of me, so when they fail - I fail.

Just drop me a message, I'll get you into someone that will actually care about your business.

... and kicks, I snowman'd the hater:

E-mailing you now.

hey, here's an idea, when someone builds their whole business on a childish reputation and a sketched image of his fourteen-year-old-self holding a stack of twenties and a pimp ring... and for some reason this whole community buys into it like, "oh man, he must be such a baller, he learned how to be a prick before he hit puberty"...

at the end of the day, please don't waste precious bytes on the interweb bitching about the predictably low quality of this clown's network. you are all like a pack of naked homophobes fucking each other in the ass in the dark, suddenly surprised and embarrassed when a bright flash of light exposes this to be one of the gayest elephantwalks ever.

jesus.

y u mad tho?

you just wrote half a novel about this clowns network, brah

First of all I agree Chad is awesome.

Second, I believe 99% of AM's are crap. Here is why...think about it if AM's truly know about affiliate marketing, conversions, landing page design, traffic sources etc. they would be off on there own making way more money instead of being all y'all bitches.

Just accept that fact and move on...

How do you think they became AM's? They dont just wake and say I want to be an am for an ad network. They had to display that they can actually do affiliate cpa marketing before they ever got job. I'm highly sure that no good network would risk hiring AM's that can't help out their affiliates. Now I feel you on some point that some AM's are just lazy and offer no help but that does not mean they know nothing about affiliate marketing.

Thats the point, you cant hire people too sharp to be an AM or they run off and start their own shit, now if you can pay them enough then you dont have to worry about it.

No one here mentioned him yet but Matt from EWA is helpful. Online everyday and does a good job in helping me out.

Over the last 12 months I've had at least 6 bulk generated emails from Birdman to his entire list offering a new AM if I wasn't happy with the one I had...

Here is my big rant during ASE:

So I walk up to a table setup by the network W9. The woman by the name of Megan asks my friend and I what we do. I go on to tell her that I run dating direct with adv, have my own biz opp and some other shit I don't want to get into in this post. What was her response to all that?

She ends up telling me that they are a CPA network, and that it stands for Cost Per Action. Which means that I will be getting paid for when the visitor completes something on the offer page.

Now while my friend and I are literally fucking holding back laughter, he asks for payment terms. She says that they pay NET 15, which means that at the end of each month, we will need to wait 15 days afterwards to have our check mailed to us.

She literally was fucking giving us definition of these terms after I made it clear in the beginning that I was experienced and my friend mentioned a bunch of shit he runs.

Second. I need to call out of the folks at seccosquared. I'm not going to name the woman that approached but during the conversation payment terms strike up again. Without hesitation she tells us they offer very fast Net 15 payments. When I laughed and at the same time told her that I don't remember the last time I haven't been paid weekly, she goes on to say that any networks that pay weekly end up being shady. That at the end of the day they'll close doors one day and not pay you, that it's best to stay away from all weekly networks.

Jaw drop.

that actually was hilarious! LOL. I am expecting 60% of AMs to like that anyway.

Thanks for the laugh man!!!

@grunin: Lol, "Very fast Net-15 Payments!" while they down networks that pay weekly "That at the end of the day they'll close doors one day and not pay you, that it's best to stay away from all weekly networks." That's a lot to say from an under-capitalized network that can't even afford weeklies. If you're an affiliate not getting paid weekly you're either rich, or dumb. It's almost impossible to scale and learn campaigns in the beginning if you're getting paid slow.

In regards to AM's: People don't work right with everyone and nobody is perfect. I honestly do my absolute best to survey my affiliates, contact people to see if they enjoy their account manager, and monitor my affiliate managers. Unfortunately at the end of the day someone always ends up getting slighted - it's upsetting. After seeing this thread I wrote up an, "Account Manager Responsibilities" document for our publishers to understand what they should expect from an EWA account manager. I want the best experience for my publishers and to have that they need a strong connection with their account manager.
