So far for the last month or two, I'm making enough as I would if I had the same entry level job in my field.

It seems after I started making $ I've been getting lazier and lazier. I know it's not going to last forever. I truly feel I got lucky with the programs I found, and from the statistics I'm seeing people are catching up on it. Eventually my revenue is going to run out.

Although I don't see myself to care, I'm trying with what energy I have to find new affilate programs. Just dont' feel I'm getting anywhere.

I started a job last week, chill job, unfortunately I spent Sunday night working on new campaigns, woke up late, lost my job. So here I am again.

I feel like I know the potentional of what is capable in this industry, but acting like I'm blind an deaf to what is at hand. Feel like a spoiled child who wants everything handed to him, like a weekly paycheck, instead of earning his own.

Best advice I can give you is don't just act as an affiliate, but also collect the first name and emails of people who visit your offer and you will have a targeted list of niche subscribers.

You can market to them again and again, just gain their trust first. Don't start pushing offers in their faces in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd email. Educate them first, then "spam" them with your offers and make money.

People don't want to see what you are selling. They want to learn something about the niche from you. They want information and education. When you have done this they will trust you and then it's time to push your offers on them.

Also, you should start selling your own products, you will make more money, not just affiliate's cut.
 
more importantly what's your motivation to do well? Sure money is great but that doesn't motivate a large majority of people. So find your motivation and then you'll find your passion.

I know what motivates me. It's the $ signs baby.

Internet Marketing, to me, is just a means to an end. That end being that I earn enough money to NEVER have to work again so I can live a sedentary lifestyle playing video games in the morning, watching primetime TV shows in the evening and fucking around on the Internet at late night (but just for fun, not to make $)

Oh yeah, and drinking lots of chug chug

I can already imagine myself sitting on my ass all day doing nothing while all my neighbors do the 9 to 5 grind.

Let's all hope I achieve my dream of a sedentary lifestyle.

Is $2 million dollars earned enough to fund a 25 year olds retirement from work for life?

This little boy wants ALL play and NO work. Internet Marketing is his vehicle to achieve that dream.

ie. If I was in Jon's position I would sell off all my online business assets and live the rest of my life in easy street (where doing any work is forbidden)

^^^^IMHO, that is the only attitude you can have in this business. It's just like anything else, if you're lazy, or get too comfortable, the money is gonna stop coming in.
