are you sure that was HPV? The major risk of with it is cervical cancer. I've never heard of it effecting ovaries before.

Marriage will be gone. The problem is many popular alternatives are still illegal, which can lead to no sex, and lead to declining population, and extinction. Will there be western civilization in the future if all their kinds go extinct, except the dumb and irresponsible ones?
The more enlightened people, the more they will realize that if we really need to know fatherhood (say you have a lot of money for inheritance), then simple DNA test is much more accurate than marriage contracts, even those enforced by stoning.
That and mates rationing. There is no other purpose of marriage. But mates rationing is unlibertarian and will go away. So there goes marriage. Poofff....
