If we put all of the attendees from ASW into one town I think I'd consider it a 24/7 lifestyle of vacation mixed with hardcore grinding hustle. I'd move there in a fucking heartbeat.

(cue Smax saying San Diego :P)
Wouldn't that be cool

Except everyone would be on their computer 20 hours of day lol.

To be honest, I remember a while back people were joking around about Affiliate Island, but I really did take it to heart and research into it more.

When I have $4-10 million to put into buying and developing my own private island I'll do so and happily spend 8 months each year living secluded from the vast majority of people.

I love people for as long as it takes me to get some money out of them. Then get the fuck away from me. I consider people to be like an ATM push a few buttons take their cash and then walk away until the next time I need more money. I have spent way to much time in sales and marketing and have become rather cynical about people. Other than a few really close friends and and some occasional "strange" i really dont need much more.

Generally like people that have similar interests as I do, such as astronomy, music production, SEO etc. Generally like anyone who has good manners and those that help others (charitable, doctors etc). Other than that, where I live anyway the number of douches easily outnumbers the likeable people, especially the gobby younger crowd. I do seem to get wound up by a lot of the shit that people post on Facebook statuses as well, especially those that update every 2 minutes. They just seem to live in their own little bubble, obsessed with celebrity culture, their friend count and what not.:)

I use to fucking hate people. After a couple years of being in IM isolation, I actually like people again. And I'm sure I'll get sick of them soon too. Then go underground hardcore again. It's just like a cycle that never ends. lol

I do find that there are cycles I go through when I try harder to like people and then it all tanks again, lol. :angryfire:

i dont see what there isn't to like with people ya know. it's such a large range, so many fucking weirdos and so many practically perfect people in the world ya know everyone is just acting doing their groove like its the studio.

Fuck 'Em All. The human species is a very disgusting.

Makes me glad to be a Total Friggin Rock Star From Mars :D

I mostly hate people and generaly see them naive, selfish and ignorant. I have worked many customer facing/on the phone jobs and there is a very small minority that I consider OK or bearable. The rest are all screaming just me, me, me....

of course. hate is needless baggage, if someone is annoying, ignore them, don't fill your mind with negativity on their behalf though.

Mostly yes.

I do enjoy being around my friends and family, but I'm not a big fan of the human race in general, because of its destructive and selfish behavior.

hate leads to anger. anger leads to trolling STS. Trolling STS leads to no monies. No monies leads more hate. Rise above it folks.

Most of my old friends are into sports, hard core freaks (not mma, that one sport I like). Seems like its the only thing they know.
Its getting harder and harder to pretend Im interested in their conversation. I want to talk about making money all the time. Most people get turned off by that, because they have regular jobs. So I just say fuck it, and talk about sports.
I figured I have am radio for politics and wicked fire for the money talk. Just smile and wave boys, just smile and wave.

And yes I like people. Specially if they can show or teach me something useful. Everybody else can fill out my lead forms. I need them to.

I had to stop hanging out with my friends. It just becomes too painful unless your dosing yourself with lots of alcohol. Even the way they used to talk about money made me cringe.

I'm a loner with only a couple really close friends, but it's way less painful.

Sometimes it's hard to like people because of their ignorance and lack of common knowledge. Recently I have been getting tired of some of my close friends for about 10 years now because they just don't seem to care about anything else but themselves. I feel for the victims in Japan, I feel for the kids who don't have anything, etc. And when I look at them it just seems like all they care about is how much they will get wasted the next day.

But then I see people who truly do care, and go out of their way to help a complete stranger. People like that give me hope in humanity as a whole. There are people who do good out of their own heart without expecting anything in return. Much love to them.

I make friends easy but like to do my own thing most of the time. I love my family but spend most of my time working and hustling, it's hard to find faith in humanity but hey, life goes on.. we all just gotta do our part to make the world better and maybe it wouldn't be turning into such a shit hole lol.

I find it interesting that most people said "No" to the poll - what's the idea? And yet everybody here is online in a community that interacts with people! How does that line up?!
