Do you Panhandle/spy for ideas?

Just wondering who's done that before on here.

example:
Act interested in something someone is trying to sell / partner / or promote, just to steal for yourself.

What experiences have you had someone trying to steal ideas by acting interested in whatever you might offer?

That's my game. No one has sniffed me out yet. The key is to not just act interested, but to shower the target with flattery to soften him up and when the time is right - WHAM - get the secret sauce from my new, fake friend.

My other trick is to have my chauffeurs deported right before bonus season.

I spied on Spamwow and now I'm winning the SEO contest.

Just kidding...

But yeah man, if you're not looking at what is working, all bets are off...

It's just part of the game.

Stealing and being a marketer are two different things entirely, just know where to draw the line and don't be a fucktard.

I deal with this shit all the time. My favorite part is to send the guy doing the spying down a never ending rabbit hole. You guys are all the same and it's very obvious.

If you want to get away with it go for the low hanging fruit.

You know what I like to do for ideas, google best inventions of 2014, then make it before anyone else does.

Ideas are shit. I have a notebook full of hundreds of ideas that are completely worthless.

Execution is everything.

Prove me wrong.

1. Create a company that can take a 60 minute recording, user simply pays and uploads, and for $60 (or less) have a 99% accurate, professionally edited transcription delivered in less than 90-minutes. I can do this automatically. I haven't brought it to market.

Bring it to market first, make it profitable and I'll be your #1 customer. I have bigger things on my plate.

#2. Ripoff any diet/dating/biz-opp offer, without literally "stealing"... Borrow, innovate, make it better... Bring it to market and turn $30k profit in 6 months. You can't and you won't.

Because you're more concerned with ideas, which are completely worthless, than implementation.

Prove me wrong. I'd love to see it.

Creators have the ability to see an idea and maximize the opportunity. It isn't stealing, nor is it unethical, it's how our universe works.

Most people on this board have an innate ability to seize an opportunity and maximize its reach and profitability, regardless if the idea was founded by another.

I realize that I sounded like an ass in that post.

But I seriously want someone to come out with a dirt-cheap yet awesome transcription service.

HINT: Mturk.

Use this as the foundation... Introducing Typingpool, My Software for Easy Audio Transcription | Ryan Tate

Write some more code for automated editing, experiment with time/price/quality and when you figure it all out sell that shit to me.

I'm not joking about how I'd love to see someone pull it off. I know it's doable.

Pretty hard to execute when the guy you hired to code your product is stringing you along while he's busy building your competition.

Excuses /= Execution

The winkledouche twins ended up making more money thanks to Zuckerberg stealing their idea, because Zuckerberg had the proper vision and ability to execute the idea.

Yes, please, tell me more about how hiring some dude to program your product and him stringing you a long, for months, in order to build (and complete) your competition and be first to market is an "excuse."

As the story goes, by the time they realized they were getting completely fucked over, by the guy who was supposed to be building their product (read: their execution), it was already too late. facebook was already up, running, and taking members, while the other guys still had months of coding to get done.

If it was a fair playing field, then sure, your bullshit line of "Excuses /= Execution" may hold some water, but it was anything but.
