Do You Suffer From Stat Checking? The Cure Lies In FIREFOX

I remember way back in the day how I suffered badly from this little thing.

Its most likely a problem for most people, checking your states 3,4, or 5 times in a day, it really takes you away from a lot of your work, its a distraction and that time could be better spent.

But how in the fuck do you overcome it well I actually never did over come it, I still check my stats in the morning and before I go to bed so twice a day instead of the old days when I checked them like 6 to 10 times a day.

Now the good news, I check my stats everyday, all day, throughout the day with FIREFOX and this is just another reason why MOZILLA will rule the earth.

The solution is PLUG-INS people, thats it I've got so many different firefox plug-ins I thought I'd never find a better one until tonight when I was searching for more I came across Adsense notifier, now I don't need to sign in because it updates my stats every 20 minutes and all I do is just look at the little bar, never have to leave my work or my pages.

Ok their was no real point to this other then if your checking your stats more then you should be I suggest you do a little search for all the tools out their which will update your stats for you in your browser.
 


I'm not too bad about stat checking. I usually don't look at my content site earnings more than 3-4 times a month. I've found that it is very much worth watching your stats closely right after launching a new campaign.

Last night I set up a new campaign, figured not much would happen to it. An hour and a half later, over 600,000 impressions.
 
I am pretty lazy about finding new plugins, are there any other good ones that you use?

A good one is called Clipmarks, you can take a piece of content from any site, including videos and photos and store them for later use, so instead of bookmarking a site just for one little thing you just clip it and save it for later.

I find it works good for collecting pictures and little articles you want to remember for a later use.

Because I'm incapable of writing short shit, well not always but when I begin to type the thoughts begin to flow and sometimes I cannot seem to stop, maybe thats what makes me decent blogger, I can just type and type and type without really saying anything well its not that I'm not saying anything their is meaning behind it but Its a bad habit that I've got when I want to explain something even if its as simple as typing two short lines I always seem to explain it in more detail then is nessisary, not to mention the bad spelling sometimes like the word nesissary for some odd reason I cannot get that fucking word to spell correctly in this long ass mother fucking paragraph that makes absolutely no sense to anyone but myself, but then again I bet it does make sense, you see what I mean when I begin to type I can pull out a 10 page article in no time at all because its just the way my mind works, I can pull a story out of thin air, I've always been able to do it and most of the time it comes out as a long ass article kind of like what you've made me do here, you see its quiet long and is not nessissary but then again maybe it is nessissary, so now I've fucked up typing nessasary 5 fucking times already and I bet if I keep going I'll fuck it up once again, so their now I'm done, does any of that make sense to you?

Ahh I am still a big vitctim of this. During big days I'll check it like every 5 min and watch the money pile up. Now I check every 10 min =)
 
I'm coming down my stat checking binge. As Andrew pointed out, when a new campaign gets started it like every 1/2 hour.


HEre's a good plugin for firefox and adsense , now instead of wasting time logging in every 5 minutes, you can just stare at your status bar. :)
 
It would be good if there was something like this for other programs, like YPN, tribal Fusion, Azoogle. Better yet, if it could combine different programs to give total earnings for the day... that would be grand.

Thanks for posting the link BeerHat, Thats the plug-in I was originally talking about.
 
i agree - links are needed. is there a azoogle plugin for firefox yet? i haven't seen a post from anyone saying they fully trust their IE plugin.
