Porn has always been free. Still got a copy of sexcapades on a 720kb 3.5 floppy somewhere. Shit come to think of it, when i first got online it wasn't even illegal to spread viruses -- ahh good times.

Porn gets leaked, or if it doesn't, them somewhere down the line, someone has to have paid for it originally, who would be the key to distributing it for free for everyone else. Again, insider leaks being the exception.

I don't pay for shit, but you can still make money in it. Tube is the way to go, just have a good tube domain, put a strong script like mech bunny, do some traffic trades etc etc....still can make some money
 
I pay for porn because of the amount of porn and kind of porn I watch. I've watched so much porn that I've gotten into some pretty weird shit and it is quite hard to find my particular fancies for free.
