dogs are great, they are always happy to see you and (as can be clearly seen in the video) go out of their minds after a long separation, even your kids grow up to not even care that you're back home but a dog will always be happy to see you...

and these guys deserve a warm welcome.

pretty cool, shows you that dogs are definitely more than just "there", and that they do have recognition. It's quite clear those dogs know who the person is way before they get up close to them, and that is awesome!

Aw..that's cute. When I'm gone for more than a few days my dog's like, "Who the fuck is this guy?"

Thanks, that was pretty sweet...

Considering the welcoming I get just when coming home after a few hours in town, I imagine it'd be close to the same if I left for a long period.

They don't forget. They aren't always happy immediately though, sometimes they'll pout for a bit first to show they were upset that you left them.

My dog has a similar reaction to the top video when I go away for a week. I cannot imagine what would happen if I went away for an extended period of time.

One of my dogs was like that. Then one of the neighbor's bitches went into heat and my dog moved over there and never came back. I visit him once in a while and he's happy as hell to see me but won't get near the car 'cuz he thinks I'm gonna take him back home.

Typical bro

Yeah, bro code for dogs no different than bro code for bros. They always say bros before hoes but when the time comes they go for the hoes.
