I gotta say this Mexican dude is impressive. The way he controlled this aggressive pitbull... takes balls and nerves of steel. In this video they show you the part where he had the muzzel on, but later on he removed it.

He's tapped into an epochs-old relationship dynamic between humans and canines that the rest of us forgot about the time of the invention of doggie sweaters.

*This is not specific to the posted vid which I didn't watch*

He's just reminding everyone how the problem is almost always the human and not the dog.

Now we need a kid whisperer to remind parents to fucking handle their business.

Whenever I go to someone's house and their dog starts jumping all over me, I try to get them to watch that show.

A common theme is that aggression is not breed-specific, and like mentioned above, is generally a product of something done to them by humans. It's a serious issue because a lot of animal shelters won't even take in pitbulls, they will put them down. He does talk about some dogs that are 'too far gone,' but I don't think they ever put those cases on the show. He gets bit a few times, though.

It's the little dogs that are the worst; people let them get away with so much that they assume the leadership role. There's one episode called 'Chihuahuas From Hell,' and he goes Exorcist on those little fuckers.

I saw the first season, it's good. I used to think the guitar music when they showed him going to the scene was hilarious.

Well said.

I watched a lot of the earlier episodes but it gets kinda dull after a while. I think the guy is a master at human and animal psychology which is why it works. He is a true inspiration when you consider how he got his start and his background he spoke no English when he came to the US and somehow wound up training Will Smiths dogs and am sure that's what gave him his break.

His skill is very specific to human-dog relationships, and inter-dog relationships. There was an episode with half dog - half wolves, and he fully admitted that he was out of his element, and brought in a wolf expert.

Same here. This show completely changed my view on dogs. I used to think it was normal that dogs would jump over strangers like that. Now I know the master isn't doing their job right.

He must do insanely well with the ladies with his insights about how to show natural dominance.

totally what I was thinking last episode. He was rehabilitating this dog for a lesbian couple and both of them were hugging him and crying at the end of the show. This guy can pretty much get any lady with a dog, regardless of her orientation lol
