Is it possible to take $50, create a site, and in 3 months be making a dollar a day? There is no ebook in the works here, I just got some time to read my son, Bob Schumck's blog and he's doing a challenge with step-by-step instructions on how it can be done. He started 4-18-08.

I didn't see him post here about it, so I am! I think it can help a lot of the newbies.

Here's the first post for $50 into a $1 a Day.
 


You can do it with much less than $50. My first online venture was a blogspot blog that cost $0 to make and still pulls in about $1 a day after almost a year and no updates.

For $10 a month + domain registrations you can get shared hosting and make 20-50 blogs to accomplish the same.

In a nutshell, how did you get your blogspot site producing a buck a day?
 
Yesterday I just finished work on my 2 first pure whitehat sites...the total cost for both was $70, so $35 per site. No income yet but the sites haven't even been indexed yet, if this thread stays active long enough I'll post again once they are indexed and I start seeing income from the traffic.
 
There are easier ways to do it - even with a 50 dollar cap.... and you should end up with more than one site.
 
you can do this for free technically. Any site that you can put adsense on ... blogger, hubpages.... should do.

The $50 into $1 A Day posts weren't meant for anything other than helping newbies get started. If you read it, you would notice the only money spent was for articles and registering a domain, so for someone who likes to write could do this challenge with lease than $10 for a domain. I haven't spent any money for advertising.

The reason for just one site was to prevent an overload of information for someone just starting out.

If anyone has recommendations for this challenge just let me know and I'll include them to my best ability.

It's nice to know my son was paying attention when I was teaching him his manners! :)

Before a recent set back due to some personal issues, I was finally on my way to that elusive dollar a day. One of the things that helped was to prioritize my projects I spent my time on:
  1. Top three money makers to maintain income
  2. Top three with the most stable income (that were not on above list) for consistent income
  3. Top three with the most potential for future income
