Domain Type-O's: Anywhere to find out the amount of times its typed in per month?

I found an interesting way recently... If you bid on typos for PPC you can tell how many searches they had last month. putting each typo into overtures keyword tool would be a waste of time though.

There are typo generators out there, but IMO they suck for the most part. What I do is just type the keyword over and over and see where I make mistakes, and also where your fingers could slip.

For example, XBOX could be mistyped very easily as xboz, xbos, xobx, etc. The z and s are fairly close on the keyboard to the x, and switching letters is a common mistake.

Look for keywords with high search volume. Wordtracker has a great report for high traffic keywords, Long Term and Short Term. Although, professional domainers have probably picked it clean.

Keyword Discovery even has a typo generator built in.

put all of the typos into a bulk ovt checker. There used to be a cool tool at bulkovt.com but its down now

ok, i know in overture you can find out how many times a word is SEARCHED every month, but is there a way to know how many times it is actually typed in (say: xbox.com is typed in directly) if it is searched 10,000 per month is it a good chance that its typed in directly that many times as well, or more?

Unfortunately, I think it's impossible to determine. If there is a way, I'd sure like to know, there's a lot of professional domainers that make a living on typo's. I'll be they're not going to give up their secrets though...
