So I still haven't been paid for November. My AM never responds to emails, phone calls, or IM's. I was promised my check was in the mail, then I realized they didn't have my w9, so come to find out my check was never mailed. I faxed my w9, my am didn't respond to emails to let me know it was received. He said a wire would be sent Friday, never got the confirmation email. I've called multiple times, emailed him several, trying to avoid posting about this...

Edit: I should note, it's a small amount - ~$600.

[16:10] Me: ###########
[16:10] Affiliate Manager: right
[16:10] Me: ok, what's the other issue?
[16:11] Affiliate Manager: so if you want a check, it might have to go in the next check run, which is after the new year, otherwise we can wire it to you, but since you're under the wire threshold they'll want to take the wire fee out of your commission.
[16:11] Affiliate Manager: Let me know what you want to do
[16:12] Me: what's the wire fee?
[16:12] Me: $25?

Eads accounting department in my eyes is actually one of the better ones, it sounds like your AM is more of the issue. He should have checked on the W9 prior.

Um.. they can't pay you anything until they get your w9 so its kinda your fault at the being there. The fax issues could in fact have not gone through, did you get a confirmation? not to mention it could have gotten lost in the office.

Do you have a scanner? I signed my w9 scanned the first page and directly emailed it to my AM. I have yet to have a problem with the network ams, or payments at eads.

I've never had a problems with eads, in fact my AM there is one of the best I have ever dealt with
Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things. Everyone I know has always been paid on time, and had great AM's.

I talked to Richard, he's going to look into it and call me tomorrow. Apparently he was out of town, I called before I made the thread but he was probably busy. I'm sure the problems were caused by my W9, but never getting a response from my AM didn't help. I still don't know if they even got my W9. Hopefully I get a wire on monday, sorry for making this thread eads. I was just trying to get Richards attention :\

PS: Feel free to delete the thread. I'll ask to have it removed later. It's a good network, I just had an unusual experience

yea but they jerked me off about a 3 dollar redsidual on power 500 that I have never seen.
You mean the same residual that no one even thought we were getting in the first place? I dunno about you, but I was promoting that offer with the idea there wasn't even a chance of getting any until pretty damn late in the game.

Chill out. Stuff takes time sometimes, and public posts where you haven't made an effort to figure out what's actually going on sure doesn't help anything. Oh wait, that would be reasonable.

I'd actually be interested to hear this: Tell me an efficient way to (between 2 completely different companies) match up an assload of sales, many of which got charged back, so that you can tell which affiliate sent which lead(even though one system likely doesnt even store affiliate data), and which leads are still subscribed. Now find a way to do it where all you have is the affiliate's ID #, and you don't violate the aff's privacy. Then comes the fun of collecting the money from the merchant, who I'd wager is pretty damn occupied with customer service/getting the orders out/doing whatever the fuck it is they do to keep those merchant accounts alive. Oh yeah, and every day it takes to do any of this, more and more sales hit recurring. Having fun yet?

Your logic is faulty.

I'm crying a river for power 500 and their administrative problems.

I'm not in the back office of power 500, I have my own problems to contend with, as do we all. It's the network that made the promises. The networks trying to round up producing affiliates.

I sent traffic there in October, I never got any residuals. I'm sure a few fat ladies haven't even looked at their credit card statements yet.

I hate shit stirring posts like these, I don't mind when guys complain about not getting paid but if you didn't submit a w9 that's your problem.

lol wao your AM needs a new day job.. every time to contact him they got off line that's just silly i would demand a new one and send logs to them so they can talk to this person bout it

If a merchant is watching its back-end quality (to avoid something like people throwing incentive traffic at an Acai offer), they should be collecting affiliate ID and sub-ID in their back-end system. Even when brokering out offers, most tracking data can be passed through a sub-id system. It should be easy for the merchant to pull a report of the current orders for a month, and see what affiliates and sub-ids were responsible for the recurring orders. It might take an extra month or so to wait for chargebacks, but it can definitely be tracked.

I know that Singlesnet tracks network quality on a level including affiliate and sub-id used, as Singlesnet went to Azoogle about a year ago asking them to have me not continue to send traffic where one sub-id was being used, but that I could increase traffic to another sub-id that was converting better in the back-end.

If I was designing a tracking system for a merchant that dealt with leads or free trial sales, I would make sure to capture all available data that was passed on.

The residual thing does need resolved. It's been runaround runaround for months now. I've been told that the numbers will be in a week from now five different times. I trust that eAds is doing what they can to resolve this, and I am taking them at their word that the merchant is to blame for the extremely long delay.

That being said, my experience with them overall has been very, very positive. Richard is a good guy to do business with.
