The problem is that the military still has control over Egypt. Taking Mubarak down was good, but only a first step towards a democratic Egypt. Essentially, Mubarak has been a puppet of the military, and the fear now is that another puppet will be reinstated, instead of free elections being held with possible leaders which come from the people, and not from the military.
