White hat SEO is a terrible idea, lots of people already own SEO agencies and have huge content farms dedicated to those terms.

You should just make it up behind the scenes. No blaming other memebers except u that way afterwards XD - its pretty clear most want a money term

I like this idea. We could sell survival kits, freeze dried food, shelters, and like you said - the T shirt.Do some press releases...get on 60 minutes....this would be fun.

Hmm...the capitalist in me wants to sell them to you (and everybody else), the ego in my Id wants to keep them to myself and crush this thing week one....I'm a hooker at heart, cash money will probably win out.
This is the best idea in the whole thread, IMO. Could be epic collaborative win, somebody gets to do product creation with aff plan, all competitors get an early jump on ranking the top 10 sites. There's a lot of money in this idea. And creating the product would be about as hard as copy pasting the sticky threads, formatting them into a pretty pdf and slapping some graphics on it. More value than most WSO's on the market anyway...

If you take jryan's excellent suggestion to heart, use barman's guru infofrauduct name generator tool and just refresh it until you find one you like.

O RLY? From 4 down there's no authority and huge flux, anybody with half a clue could knock them out and 3/4 of a clue could make it stick because it's a worthless search term with next to nothing volume and basically no competition.
All I can say is regardless of the keyword, this is going to be fucking exciting and a HUGE HUGE learning experience for all of us (both gurus and beginners alike)... Since all of us will probably be using different techniques.
I would almost create a private forum for participants only, since this is going to be priceless knowledge that we don't want to share with the DP'ers, WarriorForumers and the likes.

Just don't reveal the chosen keyword before the beginning of the contest. Create a thread were the top 3 would share their strategies, offer those guys an "incentive" to do so.
"White hat seo" would be an hypocritical choice. I like it.
"content is king" another one.
"natural linkbuilding" would be a nice contradiction.
"seo company" would be a bit fucked, but what do I care.
Apocalyptic shit just isn't my thing, unless I could hook with a tin foil hats company.

Yes most of the ebooks over there that sell thousands of copies are complete shit and we could easily make one like those, but it's not as easy as just paying for a wso thread and boom sales start flying in. You need legit copyrwriting for the thread, pretty pictures, videos and testimonials. Also need to have a long standing account. It's a circle jerk at wafo, you need to be inside that circle jerk to really do well...
I mean I guess we probably have enough guys here with accounts to get reviews going and someone here who can write the thread copy... But the more collaboration that's needed, the harder this competition will be to actually execute.
On a side note, if you were to go this route, make the product on the seo tactics used during the competition. This is something even members here would want to buy and some of the best selling wso's are on seo tactics. Although, the more you set this up as the winner has to expose all, the less a top SEO is going to want to do it.
