England vs USA

Timmay > your goalie. Nobody said Onyewu is a first choice defender. He barely made the team. I said it will be interesting to see how he plays after coming back from injury.

Nobody could see any reason why Spain would lose to the US either. It's not about being individually talented. You would think that for someone who claims to know about soccer, you would know this by now.

1-0.
It looks like Onyewu is playing first choice. That looked easy for England. Hopefully this does not end up as goalfest. ;)

Who gives a rat's ass who wins? It is not a real sport anyway! And the United States of America is the best country in the world!

I've never once watched soccer before, so decided to turn it on, you know, hype and all... I was immediately hit with one of the most annoying beehive sounding things ever, followed by three of the most boring minutes I've ever seen on television.

Have fun with that.

Of course it's boring if you're not into it... If I watch NFL it's boring as fuck but I bet if I started to follow a team and regularly watch matches I would start to like it.

rob green needs a bitch slap.

i hope capello keeps him on and gives him a chance to redeem himself.

my revised prediction: 4-2 to England.

Yeah the yanks are playing well actually. Can't believe Rob Green let that one slip.

@oogie, what constitutes that opinion that USA is the best country in the world?

Maybe, but doubtful. I like baseball, but can't stand to watch it on television... in person is great though. However, I don't really care about any NFL teams, but I can watch it on television because shit actually happens.

Not too bad in all. Quite impressed with the US team, we should both end up going through. Little disappointed that we didn't take one of our chances, and obviously the goal, but that's football. If it wasn't so unpredictable, it wouldn't be the greatest game in the world.

great result for the US, shitty for England. the second half we played a lot better and should've knocked 2 or 3 in considering the States' shitty defence.

England probably has a bit more talent.. Is that a joke? Get a clue, lol.

Can't see any reason why England would lose to the US. The US lose out to the English in every position. AND did someone mention Onyewu is the first choice defender? LOL, might as well hand the game to England. That guy can't is like 3rd or 4th choice for AC Milan and AC Milan have a shit ass defense.

Because the Spaniards get bullied like little boys. Everyone in the American team is a head taller than them. Against England, it is not going to happen because American is not that much bigger than them and England and Brazil play a very similar brand of football and goalie means nothing if defense is shit and beside Tim is not in the same league as Iker or buffon.

C'mon USA, you don't stand a chance vs England. It's not about who won the war centuries ago or who's bigger or has more citizens. It's about who has better players, better game and better strategy and sorry, you loose...

Maybe against Steve McClaren's England you'd win. But, with Fabio Capello, England is one of the best teams right now. Although, to be realistic, England won't get near final game, that spot belongs to Brazil, Argentina, Spain or the Netherlands...

ITT people who don't know what they're talking about.
