Enjoyed Affiliate Summit..what did you all think?

Oh and a tip for future shows: Bring a pack of vitamin C and Vitamin B12. Take pills throughout the day and that 9 hours of sleep you get in 3 days will be ok. No sickness.

Nice piece of advice! Would certainly take care. :)

I loved my first show. The best party was either the SybElite or ShareASale. At both I not only got drunk at someone elses expense, but got a ton of networking done.

It was our first show exhibiting and I found it to be a ton of fun. Putting faces to Wickedfire handles and meeting our pubs/advertisers/fellow networks is always a blast. I'm not much for vacations but I always feel that way about a show. Meeting people who know and understand what you do makes the conversations flow a lot better.

It seemed everywhere I went, I ran into someone from Wickedfire. I can say that Affiliate Summit West seems larger and judging from the numbers Shawn always puts out it gets more people. I dont know why, (maybe Vegas) but I walked the exhibit floor in NYC and was astonished that it was so small. We really need to ramp the East show up and get it going.

I'm not the biggest fan of New York, but I had a good time. It's nice to visit for conventions and such, but I'd never go "vacation" there. It was nice meeting everyone there.

Anyone going to AdTech Chicago?

Props to Ruck for the BEST BOOTH EVER. I kept sending everyone from my booth to his after I was done with them.

first time in NYC felt like i was in a 3rd world country what a complete pile of shit NYC is. I had to shower every time i left the hotel just walking around is dangers to your health.

Lets put it this way if some one was taking a shit on the side walk you would just walk by because you would assume it was a normal thing to do in that hell whole.

BUT OVER ALL THE SHOW MADE IT A KILLER TIME

The west has been much bigger in past years, but they were nearly identical this year - NY had 100+ less than Vegas. There were around 100 booths last week.

Thanks again for a really great show Shawn, that was my first one and I already know that I'm definitely going to be at ASW

I had an awesome time

Same here. It was my first one and it was great hanging out with all kinds of people that I've only known by phone & email for so long.

I walked into Touch and walked right out a few minutes later after seeing the guy/girl ratio. You guys are all cool to hang out with, but not really what I'm looking for in a dance club :P

ASE was definitely a great time, the c2m booth was poppin, although by the time i got there i had already enough booze in my system..

Gansevoort was full of beautiful women, as were soho house/scores/bounce/touch, everything was sweet, the random shisha place i went to, and even the food was great (rays pizza ftw)

It's weird how people are so different. I absolutely loved it. The crowds, the uniqueness, the activity, the ability to walk everywhere you want to go. America tends to lack in classic historical culture and nyc makes up for that.

Epic lulz at calling Manhattan a shit hole. You obviously haven't gotten around much.

Was a wild conference, almost killed me haha

i second that. insane conference, less booze next time.
