Why dont you use a site I own( ControlC )
Does everything evernote does and more

I'll check it out, but has it got:

A pda/ppc/wm version?
Handwriting recognition?
Search text in images? <-- really useful

I'm not interested in sharing my notes, what else does it offer that Evernote doesn't?

Your site looks good (very slow though) but hijacking a thread to plug your own product isn't very nice. At least you were honest about owning it.

Edit: just had another quick look... does it even store the formatting (css etc) of clips or is it just plain text?

RememberTheMilk.com provides the same service and it integreate into your gmail or your desktop. Very useful.
