Facebook working on search engine to compete with Google



Well, looking at how Facebook has treated IM, and affiliate on their platform... I assume Facebook is going to make SEO impossible. Again, this is why I re-iterate, get out of the search engines grasp. There is a coming war, and the victims are all going to be SEO on all sides.

bing just have the worst luck imaginable, huh? out of that billion searches a day you wonder how much referral traffic bing is getting from that and how pissed they'll be to lose that.

i also do not think facebook is the only competitor to google. i personally don't think bing has a fighting chance unless they could team up with facebook for the search engine. i think amazon and or apple creating a search engine is potential successor to google as well, more so than facebook.

i'm 20 and im seeing more and more people in my age group and younger thinking facebook is lame. now that it's becoming a necessity and almost like an a chore/authority figure it's becoming 'uncool' quick. pure speculation of course though i dont have anything to back that up.
 
Zuckerberg should spend less time fucking around and more time getting his stock prices up and firing the idiots who opened at $38 a share.
