Facebook worth $15B, wait I mean $50B, scratch that, now $70B

My little analysis of Facebook is that the business works on two levels. One, micro-transactions in games/apps etc. Two, the mother of all marketing databases.

#1 Was not considered in the Valuation seriously.

#2 Was.

#3, The Open Graph, (or rumors of its' impending existence) is what I would bet is the driver of 80% of this.
 


Facebook the social network isn't cool anymore so they better come up with new services / products. The kids will take to the next in thing where they won't get friend requests from parents and bosses.

I hear MySpace is abandoned, let's all go back there now and be hipster-ironic.
