Fantasy Football - Who's Down? (Winner gets a $25 gift certificate!)

Don't forget about the LMG Killers. We worked hard to earn that 4th spot (should have been 3rd, I whooped the tramp stampers twice, though they're above me with the same record??)

My team is strong for the next to week (see J. Charles, Jerome Harrison, and Addai).

I'll be making a push to the Championship. Mark my words.

^total points is the tiebreaker in yahoo, not h2h.

And I'm calling it right now, Wafo Peds wagenheim Rage9 Ragers in the championship game.

LOL. No way I'm losing to the Ragged Ragers. Steve Slaton is out, they don't have any strong backup plans. I picked up Quinton Ganther from the 'Skins just to make sure :)

All's fair in Fantasy football.

haha, from Zero to richter on the shit talking scale....how the fuck did you bumblee's leave Jermichael Finley on the ww for me to swoop up?

Hmm, 1 good game out of 9. Did you even see the history before his "monster" game?

Great catch Grindstone ;) I'll stick with T Gonzalez.

With TE's it's all about targets and redzone targets. He's among the league leaders since returning from the injury in both categories.

Yeah, gonzo with Redman throwing to him against a Saints D that allows the least fantasy points to TE's. Good luck with that.

And yeah, stampers might kill me. I'll be the first to admit I didn't put as much energy into this league as I should of (SIDENOTE: WTF is up with being able to pick up players in the middle of games. I've been playing fantasy football since 1991 and that's just fucking ghey. Institute a waiver claim policy that clears Tuesday night like every other fucking league in the universe. kthnxbye) and a lot of the draft picks I made on potential didn't pan out.

But I'll take a big 4 of Romo, DWILL, Moss, Roddy against what the rest of you are bringing. Should be an interesting weekend.

Um, Redman = shorter throws. Who's there to pick em up? Gonzo. If you look, he is receiving more targets than you expect.

The saints aren't as good as everyone things, look at the way Washington handled them. They're lucky they won and they gave out how many points? 30+? I'm sure some of those points will be headed to Gonzo, if minimum 6.

While you have some big names, your record tells all the flaws - mostly inconsistency. With a team like that, you're record should be at least 9-4, instead of 6-7.

Why would you not put ur effort with a prize of $500.00? It may be chump change to you, but it's marketing money to me.

I've went from 7th place to 4 place, and I feel pretty damn good about my lineup. Anyone of my guys could have a big game, even two of them. I'm looking for J. Charles to have a decent game (16-15 fpts) and and my Defense to put a hurten on Detroit (23-25 points). That's two guys. If my other guys break even, I'll be heading to the next round.

This has been a great season, and it's going to be fun to see how it ends.

Two other leagues with payouts over a grand, plus the whole "picking players up in the middle of games bullshit" kind of soured me. Half the fun of playing fantasy football (to me) is working the waiver wire and grabbing the next stud before they're a stud. If it comes down to who is sitting on their computer with yahoo open grabbing every guy that puts up points, kind of defeats the purpose, IMO.

Feel you on Charles, I have to play against him in big money league this week and that matchup with BUF terrifies me. Not so sure about BALT, they're banged up and Megatron is poised to put some hurt on fools. And yeah, you're probably right about Redman, I saw them run that little curl route 3 out of 4 plays last week. Vilma will knock a motherfucker out tho, d00ds a monster. And the Saints were on the road, short week, coming off a huge emotional win. Classic trap game. Play that game 10 more times and Saints blow them out 8 times.

It is going to be fun to see how it turns out, I can't believe I made the playoffs needing to win without my best player last week.

Tru about BALT, but they have the best matchup this week and while banged up, I think Stafford or Culpepper (who ever's playing) will throw 2 or 3 interceptions, with one returing to the house. I expect one fumble recovery and detroit scores 7 points.

My problem is I have Ben Rothlisberger and Vince Young. Vince young has been killing these past two weeks, though I don't know if he's quite back. Ben has some rough weather ahead (snow AND wind), but he had a killer game against the browns last time around.

I'm making a bold move and going with Rothlisberger. I just hope he can give me at least 15.

AbsoluteCheddar, was absolutely owned. A loss by 1 point, and prob the worse tie of all time, all 3 starting RBs went down. Funniest part of the whole thing is that I actually tried hahah. Not a good year for my FF team :(

Brutal week for me in three leagues. Time to double up my marketing efforts, there's $2600 I won't be seeing.

Congrats Nunez. Also, your boy Randy just made my do not draft. ever. again. list.

Fuckin' homo bitch quitter cunt.
