Next time your in the west end come visit my cafe. In it you will see what people living in Vancouver making 10 or less a year look like. Of everyone that works in my cafe I am the only one who does not have some sort of degree or is in the process of taking one. Right now the person who works the most is a chick from Australia on a work visa. Hardest worker I've ever had too!

$15 per hour is a bit too high pay rate for restaurant jobs.

In my opinion, $12 per hour is pretty decent.
