Okay, just got back from Staples.
I went to fax my W-8BEN form to Commission Junction and aside from the Fax Girl knowing absolutely nothing about the machine (I don't know anything either) and spending a good 12 minutes or so trying to send it through, I finally did.
However, this is my question:
After sending the fax, it printed out a confirmation page. This page consists of the top 25% being a "TX REPORT" which states that the transmission went "OK" and stated some other technical information as well. The rest of the page is a copy of what I sent out, my W-8BEN form, but the top portion is cut off, which contains important information. I assume this is because of the TX REPORT box, but I'm worried that maybe what I sent out looks like that too and that I'll have to resend again.
Does anyone know if this is normal, for it to be cut off, or that something probably went wrong?
To end off my bad faxing experience, Faxing Girl then charged me $6.77
It's a one-page international fax. I wouldn't care about the price if I didn't see a $1.49 price for International Faxes underneath the printer on the instruction sheet... I don't know why the recipt shows $5.99 - but I never bother about such things. I would have wasted another 15 minutes there probably..
Anyhow, anyone?
