Finding and keeping track of new trends?

I'm looking for new resources so I can keep track of all of the new trends.

So far I have found the following:

1. TREND HUNTER - #1 in Trends - Fashion Trends, Tech, Style, Design, Pop Culture and Marketing
2. trendwatching.com: Consumer trends and insights from around the world
3. Springwise | New business ideas, trends and innovation
4. MarketingCharts: charts & data for marketers in online, Excel and PowerPoint formats
5. The TrendWatch
6. Cool Hunting

Hopefully we can get a much bigger list going because this type of info really is golden. I know there's probably a ton of resources out there that I missed.

Out of curiosity, what's the point of repping someone when no matter what their rep bar thing stays exactly the same?

After a while your e-peen can only grow so big, but you keep getting +rep to counter nerd aids.

Sites like Trendhunter look amazing and interesting, but for those of you who stick to your little niche and don't venture out of it (this is what I do)... you should definitely lurk in a few discussion forums related to your niche and monitor it yourself.
