Firearms thread - enthusiasts only please

Not an enthusiast, just a fan of shooting anyone who decides to come into my house and fuck with me...

I have a few guns, I bought this one recently...

Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .38 Special.

It shoots the +P rounds.

I was pretty pissed after I bought it because it's hard to be accurate with when you aren't used to it.

It's highly concealable, it packs a helluva punch and it's tiny for a .38 special.

I can barely hold on to the thing it's so small. I was really inaccurate the first few times firing it, but I've finally got used to it, and it's accurate enough for what I use it for (home defense and occasionally carrying while hiking, etc.).

Also has a laser site which I haven't used much except for messing with my cat.

All in all, it's not bad for a concealable weapon or something to keep close for home defense.

Use the laser site!

A friend of mine has one of these and I was able to shoot a perfect group with the laser site my first time out. I love that gun.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy Taurus autos of any kind (IMHO Taurus makes shit autos - opinion formed from experience).

You're not the first person who's told me that, thanks for the advice. I'll probably buy an h&k if I do get a .45 auto. Or another glock.

Last gun I bought

lol @ all the liberals/emo scanning this thread and feeling so feminine.

The ladies like the guns, too. They get all flushed and sweaty with the feeling of power after firing a gun for the first time. Protip: Make one of your first dates a trip to the range and enjoy the bedroom rampage to follow.

QFT.

Especially if they've never fired a gun before. It's a good ice-breaker, it's original and they'll have fun.

Protip #2: If said girl hasn't fired a gun before, be fully prepared for her to scream, drop the gun and/or wave loaded gun around wildly without realizing she's pointing a loaded weapon at you (rare but it happens).

Use the laser site!

I can't see it well when it's bright outside, which is usually the only time I'm shooting it.

I think the main thing with me was the recoil and the fact that the gun is so damn tiny. I kept shooting high, etc. I got used to the iron-sites pretty quick and yeah, I like it a lot now. It's packs a lot of heat for its size.

Some pretty bad ass pieces for a bunch of gay webmasters.
Im sitting on a couple of 12 guages for hunting. I love my Browning Gold 10 gauge semi auto. Ruger 10/22 (every gun guy has to have a .22) and then a glock 30

Anyone into antique guns? After beating Red Dead Redemption, I really want to get a working 1873 Winchester.

Mossberg 500

Hey Riley-
Check out the Mossberg 590's. Better quality for sure than the standard 500's. Also look at the Remington 870 Police model (not the express line).

Also whats up with your finger on the trigger of your glock in that photo - Planning on firing? :)
