Whats the deal with the new Firefox - 1.5 million downloads in the first 24 hours?!! Good luck!

I installed it yesterday and it looks prety nifty..BUT then - a couple of times when Ive had 5+ tabs open it suddenly closes? I loose all my work/blogging etc!!! :error:WTF!!

When I open it again it says "restore session" and it basically just opens the pages u were busy with.. no data saved.

What a load of bull shit!! Has anyone else has issues with the "new" version?

I've had no problems here. The only thing I hate is that I can't use it at work...bastards.
 
I got Opera running with about 40 tabs open right now. Also have dreamweaver, paintshop, and some notepad eindows. All on a notebook. Firefox and IE would not run at all (memory goes crazy) with that setup. And yes - I do visit and use all 40 tabs.
 
I used it for 2 days when it came out, then switched back to 1.5

other than spellchecker I don't see any reason to use FF 2 over 1.5
 
Nice updated version. Far better than the old woman. Indeed, FF really knows what's the best for us. :)
 
I like the new look and its been working fine for me. Had to update a few of my extensions though.
 
I am going crazy using the FF. They installed some type of "upgrade" and now its all fucked up. I can't bookmark anything. It wont let me hit ok, and add it. Anyone else experience this? Additionally,my google PR thing is gone, and all kinds of shit is missing. I've spent hours trying to get my set-up back to the way it was. I might go to Opera, but I am so familiar with FF now.

yeah a whole shitload of plugins don't work anymore
 
I just downloaded Opera 9 and my productivity level is back on the rise. Firefox stopped me for a whole fucking day. I hate that mother fucker now. Go OPERA if you havent already. U can thank me by giving me rep points and letting me know what you think. The widgets function is money.
 
yea tons of my plugins dont work anymore and theres no updates for them as of yet!

I like the new glossy look aswell and the tab terminate buttons on each tab..

but it still crashes on me!!!

Back to 1.5 ..
