For the second time in her life, she is truly proud of her country.

What a C U Next Tuesday.

White House sources today claimed that the First Lady has spent $10million of U.S. taxpayers' money on vacations alone in the past year.

The 'top source' told the National Enquirer: 'It's disgusting. Michelle is taking advantage of her privileged position while the most hardworking Americans can barely afford a week or two off work.


'When it's all added up, she's spent more than $10million in taxpayers' money on her vacations.'

I dont really see a problem here. The whole goal of politics is to get in and siphon off as much cash as possible. Just look at the Super Pacs. Being a highly elected official is a license to rape and pillage as much as possible.

Pretty much, not shocking one bit. Compared to how much this country spends $10 mil a drop in the bucket. It costs an insane amount of public any time the President or his family go anywhere.
 
She's going on three holidays a year? Is that it? WTF are Daily Heil bitching about?

Fuck man, I'd want 1 week in 4 off if I had to put up with all the bullshit that a senior politician does. In fact - I'd rather our leaders take more breaks to nice places. They might think straighter.

Agree with Rage9 - it's not like the prez can just hop on a charter flight in economy, even if he wanted to.

She has gone on vacation to Spain with a shit ton of her friends. Should all that money be spent in our country on our economy? I dont think ANY politicians should be allowed to go on vacation at this time in our country.

The Obamas are a political family. Why is this news? Happens all the time. You vote for these suckers, you deserve it. When learn to stop voting, then you can complain.
 
$10 mil? That's nothing. Costs $160 mil for the President just to attend one meeting sometimes. :)

I don't know if you guys have ever been at a location where the president or his family are visiting but there is a lot of manpower involved just in the security of the arrival. Imagine the pilots that need to be retained, the inspection and maintenance of aircraft, the security sweeps of the building/rooms, the acquisition of bullet/bomb proof cars, all the secret service agents that have to work overtime, etc. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if a simple photo op at a public library could run in at $500,000+ for a 1 hour visit.
 
Well, $10 million is a big moneyto earn in online business but it is very small if you are talking it as an expense. The first lady has the privilege to spend most of the people's money... No one cares as long as Uncle Sam is not suffering.
