if it was a site selling loop beats it would be ace, but it might be a bit high class for the crunk crowd. it's a nice logo nonetheless. constructive criticism would include the fact that it might prove difficult to distinguish if it's streetbeatz.com or beatz.com or dropthatbeat.com

Stop being a sour bitch. If you couldn't understand his requirements that's your problem, seemed pretty clear to me and I don't think you gave him enough information AT ALL. Your site was just a default skinned pligg site, you can't just request a design for that shit.

Stop being a cluless douche. I said that isn't the site, I was going to give further details after I posted quickly and it isn't a Pligg site. Your pal made an offer that he didn't fulfill, meaning it's not your issue and you can stop smacking me around for the sake of brownnosing the friend of the management.

As for the logo itself, meh. It's not bad, not thrilling.

dreamache, first off thank you for the design. I personally think it looks good for only putting in 30 minutes into it. I like how you were given some details about the logo and you could make it and make it look nice within the hour. I should have been more clear when I typed the url. I forgot when you type url's, it takes the title of the page. The site is actually street-beatz DOT net. My fault.

I would agree. But I do like the keys part. But I do like the design and it looks great. I'm sure if I was a real customer, paying, he would tweak the things that I wanted tweaked.
 
decent logo for being done in 1/2 an hour (and for free) but the placement of the words and the .com is VERY confusing. I can't tell if it's supposed to be DROPTHATBEAT.com or BEATZ.com but I would never guess that it was StreetBeatz.com with a tagline underneath it.

you just can't break the domain in half with a graphic like that, by doing so you've separated the words into two blocks. Street Drop that Beat and on the other side Beatz.com.

As far as logos go if I were the client, I would send this back to the designer and ask for some tweaks to be made to help differentiate streetbeatz.com and drop that beat before even considering using it.

I think he should have done the blueyonder logo.

BlueYonder did what I would have done: Write down the required stuff as fast as possible to be the first to respond.

Yes, he was whiny afterwards, understandable IMHO.

Nice logo, BTW.

I get my logos for cheap on DP tho, so it might be some time before I need one of yours.
