December 2014 I sold a site through a broker and have decided to give Flippa a go this time around.

I have followed Tavin's guide pretty closely on my last few websites with a few of my own tweaks to the model.

I am planning on doing a Premium listing over 8 days with a reserve about 5k higher than my target.

If anyone has any tips or things they wish they knew/had done prior to selling on Flippa I would greatly appreciate hearing anything.

I would list longer than 8 days to allow more people to notice your listing - go for 30, which is the max as far as I can remember.

Set your reserve to whatever you want, start the listing with $1 and put a BIN as well to avoid any silly offers, as your BIN will give a rough indication of how much you're after.

Obviously, goes without saying, describe your site well, provide proof of any income/traffic claimed and that's it really.
 
I don't have any tips, but I'm interested in seeing how it goes for you and following along for any other useful information.
 
Cool, I am going to extend the bidding longer and have been putting together some more screenshots of Aff. earnings and traffic.

I do use Piwik instead of GA which I feel is somewhat of a disadvantage with Flippa, since its so integrated.

For serious bidders I will be sending them a read-only access login to Piwik.

I'll keep you guys posted throughout and give a nice write up in the end with what I have learned.
