The only thing he has done is spend a ton of money that we don't have and to make the divide even larger between the countries citizens.

I am not so sure that healthcare reform will pass. The Blue Dog dems slipped in a rule that will severely restrict, if not eliminate, health insurers covering the cost of abortions (including in the event of medical necessity, not just voluntary ones). While this will help appease pro-life Blue Dogs and maybe a Republican or two, the conservative base will vote against it just to maintain the party line... and it could cost liberal / Pro-Choice Dems votes. Especially from very liberal districts.
I don't think that piece of shit health care bill floating around Washington is going to pass. It's stuffed with a bunch of bullshit. On top of that, the Dems are trying to ramrod their environmental legislation through. This will end up costing the Consumer an additional 5 grand a year (on average).

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Nobody thought they would get this far. If it does pass, America fundamentally changes, both economically and politically. Obama was schooled all his life in power acquisition strategies - you can bet that right now his singleminded focus is on getting this legislation passed and guaranteeing the Democrats a monopoly on power in America for the coming decades.

That is factually wrong. The Bluedog dems in the senate want to eliminate govt funded abortions, so they would vote for the bill in the senate. The Liberal Pro Abortion senators will not vote for the bill if they add the ammendment to NOT fund Abortions.
Therefore you can not say they have anything close to 60 votes. Lieberman is against the bill so thats 59, and they count 20 dems on each side of the Abortion issue. So they couldn't even use the nuclear option to pass with 51.

Amendments may be made, however, health care reform is still going to pass. Even if that part is amended, the pro abortion senators won't pass up the bid to vote yay on a historic bill that they have been trying to pass for the past 60 years.

It will not pass the senate due to abortion. And if Pelosi would not have told the 40 bluedog dems in the house with NO GOVT Funded Abortions, she would have not gotten the votes to pass.
