Those weren't failures, those were successes (health care reform still pending). Maybe failures to you since you don't agree with them, but successes to the administration.
Lots of stuff dude. Here's a few things off the top of my head:
- PASSING HEALTH CARE REFORM (not done yet, but it will pass)
- Ordering closure of Guantanamo
- Ceasing the insane bush interrogation practices
- Lifting restrictions on stem cell research
- Timetable for Iraq withdrawal
- Tens of thousands of new troops to Afghanistan (where we should have been all along)
I don't think that piece of shit health care bill floating around Washington is going to pass. It's stuffed with a bunch of bullshit. On top of that, the Dems are trying to ramrod their environmental legislation through. This will end up costing the Consumer an additional 5 grand a year (on average).
Good job Obummer! Your legislation will surely help America dig its way out of the recession.
1) Your right it hasn't passed and will end up a wattered down, useless, bill so that the dems and call victory
2) Gitmo is still open and will be for a while
3) Thats your opinion, I have been waterboarded and it's not that big of a deal. It is a good tool.
4) I don't give a fuck about stem cells
5) Bush set the timetable
6) He hasn't made a set decision yet. He is still "thinking" about it!
It just passed the house, now to the senate: Historic healthcare overhaul passes House -- latimes.com and it will more than likely pass the senate, where democrats are the majority (only a small fraction of dem senators oppose it).

Republicans are the most religious people but yet most evil , so funny to me.
They dont give a fuck about stem cells because he is waiting on God to cure the diseases and grow back people arms, and let people walk again.
And also waiting on God to give insurance to all the poor people so they can stop dying and stop going into debt.
Republicans are the most religious people but yet most evil , so funny to me.
Obama-ites, please answer me this-How do you spend yourself out of debt? That is what Obama is trying to do. Why can't I do it? I really feel bad about leaving my new granddaughter saddled with so much debt. I certainly will not be around to pay it off.
I usually always counter.
Are you even talking about this thread though or my atheist music thread? I mean...they don't even have to enter the atheist thread. They can just stay out, simple. I only apply dashes of atheism into this thread when it's relevant. The only thing I post in my atheist thread is music (that you can choose not to listen to) and responses to theists that choose, on their own, to debate me. Other than that I just post music in that thread. (<--which is now dwindling)
Christians are shooting doctors in churches. (and have a history of doing so)
but to not regard radical islam as more dangerous than radical christianity is simply willful ignorance or a result of an unfounded bias against christianity(or an over-calibration of your fairness meter).
Well look up what "new atheists" are, you'll understand.
Preaching to the choir is how you get the choir to sing....
That is factually wrong. The Bluedog dems in the senate want to eliminate govt funded abortions, so they would vote for the bill in the senate. The Liberal Pro Abortion senators will not vote for the bill if they add the ammendment to NOT fund Abortions.
Therefore you can not say they have anything close to 60 votes. Lieberman is against the bill so thats 59, and they count 20 dems on each side of the Abortion issue. So they couldn't even use the nuclear option to pass with 51.
Amendments may be made, however, health care reform is still going to pass. Even if that part is amended, the pro abortion senators won't pass up the bid to vote yay on a historic bill that they have been trying to pass for the past 60 years.
