As promised, we are dedicating all of May and June to contests to offload over 250 FREE exhibitor hall passes (total worth $75,000) for the Affiliate Summit East show in Miami this year on July 8th-10th at the Intercontinental.

We need your input for contest ideas!!!

If you've got contest ideas, post them here. We have to run a TON of them, and so far I only have the usual weird and fun ones we typically run. So, if you've always wanted to do contests, but never had the means to do one, post your ideas here. If we run it, you score yourself a free pass.

Please keep the contest ideas legal too.

I can assure you, as much fun as the Vegas show was, this one is going to be more about networking and partying it up. Plus this show, WickedFire is going to have it's own booth! We'll be giving away a 62" Fujitsu Plasma HD-TV & entertainment center! Information on that will be available at our booth. Unlike in Vegas when we had a private party (thanks Copeac!), this show we are going to have a bigger party, but it won't be private. The invitation will be extended to everyone attending the Affiliate Summit East show. More details on that as they become available.

The only requirements to get a free pass from us is that you CANNOT under any circumstances be an employee of an affiliate network or program of any type. These tickets are strictly reserved for affiliates, webmasters, designers, developers, programmers, etc. NOT managers or network owners.

PS - Many thanks from us to Shawn Collins for allowing us to give away a ton of these passes yet again, and also for running a much needed show for the industry.
 


Contests will start going live on Monday May 7th 2007, and will not stop until July 1st 2007.

Our contests are easy enough so that we can give out tickets easily for those who show some type of effort.

DO NOT PM ME OR IM ME ASKING ME TO HOOK YOU UP. I WILL NOT DO IT. YOU MUST WIN A CONTEST OR HELP OUT ON WICKEDFIRE IN ORDER TO GET THE PASS. THE LAZY ONES WILL NOT BE REWARDED.
 
you should have a design contest. who can design the craziest WF mascot or pirate flag or whatever haha

Like I told Lerch.. I would love to have design and photoshop contests galore, but we don't have many designers here, and only a really small handful of the ones that could churn something out, would just win them over and over again.

Jon, just a kindly remidner I won one already for asking a question when you were on webmaster radio, there were a couple other people too i believe

the fix is on again! least us mortals won't have to outduel you for remaining tickets again. why don't you spend more time on internet marketing and less time on wickedfire constests? ;)

What if you had a contest with the same principles as your "Get Paid $1,000 per Month!!!" post?

i.e. If someone can find some news that isn't on Digg or Netscape or something and post it here.

Or, (and this will get people's fat asses from out of the house, and some press for WF)

Whoever can get a picture with a news anchor/reporter/weatherman/traffic girl/etc. in their city with some type of WickedFire branding.

That way you can add the As Seen On shit all over the place.

OR,

If you want to be all computery about it you fucking nerd, you can do a WF tag.

Maybe something like links to WF with your screen name and WF as the text (ex: CorrectAD - WickedFire Better Cough Up The Tickets)

and whoever can get like a 3 digit domain (ex: xyz.com) to accept the link gets a ticket.

Just some thoughts.
 
No gay postwhore contests... lets see if we can be more creative, who can solve the most captcha's, get the most links, spam the msg's, make the most money, get the most rep in a certain amount of time, bring the most new users (with referral or affiliate ID ), smack jon around the most, make the post that gets the most legit responses...... and the list goes on
