Woot, thanks. Got two meals and a large drink for like $2. Not as good as some of their other chicken stuff, I'm a big fan of their Twisters, but a decent meal for the price.

not much.

actual food costs are nominal. i bought a small soda for $1.50 - probably covered the cost of the meal and i wouldn't have been there otherwise. lights have to be on, staff needs to be there, it's generating traffic and word of mouth. successful campaign.
 
Yeah, biscuits are the bomb. So simple yet so versatile and delicious. They're ridiculously easy to make as well... exactly like the KFC ones. I can dig up the recipe if you want. They're perfect for:

Biscuits and gravy (sausage gravy, makes a nice breakfast)

Strawberry shortcake (slice strawberries up, sprinkle with sugar let stand a couple of hours, split a biscuit in half, spoon over strawberries, vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, top with biscuit half, add more strawberries and whipped cream)

Barbq, pulled pork, chicken, ribs.

Etc.

Yeah , KFC's are the best, my mom used to make a version really similar to theirs ,and it was only like 3-4 ingredients. Pilsbury also has a special butter biscuit that's almost identical to KFC's.
 
Popeye's FTW. Me and some buddies piled up into a truck mexican style and hit the local KFC. That bitch was packed, and luckily we were the last truck to get through before they closed. Chicken was nasty as fuck, but free.

Man, people are sad. I drove by KFC earlier today and there was a line literally out the door and around the building. I heard on the news that the wait was about 45-60 minutes to get food.

That's not free.
 
My local grocery store ( which is a pretty big regional chain so many of you probably have it) is running $1.79/lb chicken breast this week. Seems like a much better deal for anyone who really wants some normal grilled chicken. Time to get out my Food Saver.
 
i printed out 3 of them, ill use them in the next week or so, if not, who cares. i got them from oprah.
