Fuck John Volk

In reality, I actually stopped posting updates about income (new record day, goal meter, etc) because I had family and family friends coming on to my blog and then acting different to me. I've tried hard to make that part of my life hidden from most family friends, etc.

Therefore I am a lot more vague in sharing that type of info on the blog as of late.

The truth is that 2009 was the best year I have ever had, both in profit and income, I donated over double that of 2008, and 2010 looks to be promising of beating 2009 - good things in the pipeline. Just to clarify, very little income is from blogging.

I enjoy blogging and now that I have leveraged my time well (employee = full x% owner) as well as making strategic partnerships to the point where I can spend some time blogging and spending some time doing something that might not make a killing.

As for the content, no post can apply to every single person. So some days might include content for newbies and some might for more experienced people.

You seem like a cool dude, but why do you refer to yourself on your Twitter page as a Christian internet marketer?

Jesus would make a re-bill out of these:

in my experience, there is no difference in the level of money shredding based on nationality. it relies entirely on how much you have.

there is a difference. Western media educates women to be the worst nightmare of any wealthy man. In my experience, specially eastern and southern european girls are low-maintenance and actually know how to cook. lol.

Hello friend,

You make point good. Jesus probably no want follower scam other Christian for make money. There probably even some saying Jessus in Bible Christian that making to much money wrong.

But Lakshmi different. Lakshmi bless follower with riches.

Good luck bro

I was thinking the same thing.. Volk cannot be a goody Christian marketer.. esp some of the stuff that you have alluded to promoting in the past . It is scammy, ruins people live when people are already poor with spiraling debt and unemployment.
I mean just think of all the fights that would go on in a family when the poor husband or wife decided to sign up for a gov grant or a biz opp and the conflict and ass whipping that ensued.
Jesus would love that I am sure.
Not saying I have not promoted but I do not claim to be some ultra religious dude.

Yep, you are spot on here. Marketing to marketers is pretty tough, especially in an industry where we are trained to not only spot bullshit but be experts in creating it ourselves.

I HATE seeing people in my industry scam their peers, which is what's happening with 99% of all information products out there.

Regardless, @tjewsky, I doubt jeremy is going to become "old news" just because you said so :P

This is ridiculous. Its okay to scam the world, but dont scam affiliate marketers. LOL. Whatever. A scam is a scam.

I've actually made money from some of the things I learned (oh, sorry paid for(scammed by) from other marketers). I have yet to make money from applying for a government grant or signing up for a rebill google offer.

If someone can create a product and relaunch it 48 times and make $$$ each time with their "revolutionary" product, then fine. Who the fuck cares?

Why try to protect affiliate marketers? We protect no one else.

The only reason I don't do the same thing is that I don't want to deal with "customers", chargebacks and threads like these.

More power to the marketers who do.

Yeah, kind of an oxymoron unless all he promotes is 100% non-deceiving offers. Jesus wouldn't be promoting half the shit in this industry. :D

No way - these two things go hand in hand. Organized religion is the biggest deceiving offer of them all. Greatest rebill of all time. Put your money in the basket every week and we'll send you your weekly supply of forgiveness.

Then you get a popular spiritual leader/popular blogger and they spin off all sorts of books, stadium tours (conferences), etc.

Radical religions are more like the affiliate marketing side of marketing though. Pay shipping for a free sample and your dick is going to grow 5 inches = blow your self up and you get 12 virgins. Either way, you'll no longer be useful to the affiliate marketer/ radical religion after a single action, so they can go all out for that one conversion and don't have to actually deliver on the promise.

I'm not an atheist, but not a fan of organized religion and I think that being a Christian Internet Marketer does make a lot of sense.

You obviously haven't seen Diggstown. "Never con a con-man"

The real truth is, any affiliate marketer really making decent money isn't going to buy programs like these. Maybe a few people, but certainly not most.

The people who buy programs are usually noobs or people that are addicted to finding "The Secret". They are as gullable as any rebill customer.

AT LEAST many of these programs teach the BASICS and can be helpful for people who are getting into the industry.

I bought a few of "the programs" out there and learned quite a bit when I was getting started. But, unlike most, I actually made a profit BUYING the programs. I would buy them on ebay and then resell them on ebay for more money.

Let's say Kern was selling his program for $2997 every six months. So on month 3, I would buy a copy on ebay for $300. Id study it for a few months and then when Kern relaunched the same product on month 6, I'd sell my product on ebay for $700. Id simply put the product on ebay, tell people that they could A. Buy the product for $700 from me OR B. Buy it from Kern for $2997. Then I would post a link to Kern's sales letter page so they could check it out.

I did this with the 2 or 3 programs I wanted.

I didnt get scammed at all. I got knowledge and a little extra dinner money.

Oh Nos! - we better protect all the affiliate marketers!!!

It's not wrong to not want to fuck over my peers for money. I understand the nature of affiliate offers, and the "scams" you're referring to I'm assuming are rebills which is such a small portion of the business.

There's a reason people on here get pissed off over info products like e-books which are completely worthless. A very good reason.
