Some people trip like hell when they smoke salvia. I guess its just a really quick trip kinda like huffing except more visual like caps. Some people think its a fake and just a social thing where people think they're high cus everyone else is. I have no idea but I've tried it three times in my life. I even smoked it till I got sick and puked. Never got anything more than a headache from it (could be a body chemistry thing).
most don't use it correctly. leaves themselves aren't very potent, extracts are needed to get religious because the trip only lasts minutes and effects aren't exactly cumulative like pot -- when you get it done right, you
might be able to get two hits in before you're gone beyond visual and motor control needed to take another. also needs a butane torch to vaporize the psychoactive ingredient, flicking a bic won't cut it.
ain't a party drug at all. the trip can be very uncomfortable -- especially in a social situation. 'course i'm from the school of thought that thinks any big-time consciousness modification should be a journey of one.
salvia's also next up to be outlawed, many states have made extracts and tinctures illegal (including mine). i'd rant about it, but OP needs attention too.
** No, this is not a thread complaining and whinning about life
thread title says otherwise.
keep on keepin' on, you'll find what you're looking for man.
To me, life doesn't feel anymore concrete then a dream. Life is just like a dream, except it last longer. A long, long dream.
playing with memes can be fun. i'm not sure whether you've just been exposed to the idea and find it (more interesting than/an escape from) your current reality, or you actually believe and feel what you say you believe and feel, but.
psycho cybernetics should be your first stop. because nobody can explain the world's beauty better than a plastic surgeon.
once you're halfway through reading it, hop on youtube and check out some of bill hicks' performances. pay attention toward the end. pay attention period, it's all good stuff. then continue reading.
holographic brain/universe theory might be a good final destination. might fit nicely with your current belief structure and it might have a lasting positive impression. maybe.
or you can go mainstream and look into 'the secret', which is basically an extremely well-marketed rehash of the classics by napoleon hill and wallace wattles. look into them too while you're at it.
'course you can find people preaching this message a dime a dozen these days.
i think it's a good thing.
i may be wrong.
all roads lead to the idea that, merrily, life is but a dream. and you're free to dream whatever dream you would dream, as long as you're aware that you're dreaming a dream, and it is your dream.
your dream.
or something.
belief is fucked up like that.
the key is to believe in something believable.
whatever you believe, truly believe, you'll find to be true.
even if you believe all life is good for, is fucking. life. with long, dreamy guns. or whatever.
