His console broke after a couple of months and people reply with 'just buy a new one'.....
...Yeah. What kind of message does that send to the companies who produce them?.
So the next console they make, they know they can use shitty components which fail in no time, safe in the knowledge that there will always be retards like you lot who will just go and buy another one. I seriously think some of you guys have more money than fucking sense.
There are far too many products on the market which fail after a specific amount of time as it is, it's called planned redundancy, the lightbulb being one of them, infact it was probably the first product that was meticulously designed to fail.
Luckily lightbulbs dont cost $300 - $400 though.

I dont own a ps3, but if it broke within 2 months i'd do something about getting it replaced.
Its not about 'fighting battles'... it's about using your common sense and actually placing some value on the money you spend.
Didn't your parents ever teach you the value of money? ... or did they just say "hey, if something breaks, it dont matter, just buy a new one!!'.
