If you don't take the time to promote your products to affiliates or gain enough affiliate sales to increase your gravity ect... then clickbank is a waste of time and you might get 1 or 2 affiliate promoting your shit if you leave it there long enough.

You don't need to take a lot of time promoting it, no more than he's currently doing anyway. And besides, not only will the affiliate sales make up for extra fees, but Google can still crawl your site through their hoplink. In terms of SEO, that's a bonus.
