Funny thing happened the other day that I thought i'd share with ya.
On one of my affiliate sites the price was wrong cus the product feed the advertiser gave had an error. Apparently a customer saw it and called in and bitched and moaned about it. So the rep on the phone went to the site and clicked on the link. Sure enough the price was wrong.
This is where it gets funny...
After all was said and done the rep forgot to clear his cookies, so for the rest of the day every single order he took over the phone gave me credit. This was like a percentage commission of $1,000+ products mind you. Tons of them!
When the affiliate program account manager called me she was all upset at me about it like it was my fault. I couldn't help it i just started laughing so hard. You should of heard how mad she was. It was hilarious.
Of course i let them reverse the transactions that came from their ip but the whole thing was definitely share worthy.
