Game Alexa?

Would anyone here be interested in looking into a way to raise alexa ranking?

i was thinking of a link exchange type site to do it with..

If this is a problem just delete my post, i'm not looking to start any real controversy.

Alexa is pretty easy to game... But unless you're selling adverts to traffic buyers in flat-rate with little to no tracking verification - what's the point?

Not sure what the point is with artificially inflating your alexa stats either. Not to say I don't check mine compulsively. (but I'm a stats junkie, so that's not sayin much). The sex wiki I run with a few friends has gotten down to <50K fairly recently thanks to digg, which is pretty exciting

Here's an easy way to game alexa - go to your school/university/workplace, install the alexa toolbar on every computer and set your website as the homepage.

To locked down + 2003 folder redirection makes it not work at all.

Also, the fact that a few ad companies use it as a metric to gauge what an ad on your page is worth would be one of a few decent reasons, not to mention that some people are dumb enough to still use it as a measurement themselves.
