Does gaming ever get in your way of making monies? I got hooked on Dragon Age Origins 2 weeks ago and I have got literally nothing done since. :(

I used to be hooked on counter-strike. I forced myself to quit and it's probably the best thing i've ever done. Fuck video games there a waste of time. You'll get bored at first without them but trust me you'll get over it when you start making money again, having a better social life, and most importantly getting laid.

MLB 2K10 for me lately. Not that there is anything wrong with kicking back every once and a while, but damnnnnnnnn.

nhl 2010 is the devil. And when SC 2 hits the shelves for real, im in trouble. For a little while anyway, I get bored quickly because I play non stop for a while.

Love playing games, but I can't play them for long periods of time. About an hour and I need a break.

Most games I'll play for about 4-5 hours, love it, and never have the urge to pick them up ever again. Then again, I played a lil bit of CS back in the day, about a 1-3 hours a day, and currently I'm playing a lot of LoL. Probably about 3-4 hours a day depending on how the server is doing and how I'm feeling.

Games are usually 35-50 minutes, so I'll play one, take a break for an hour or two, then play again and so on. Normally though, my attention span for games is like 20-30 minutes and I'm done for a bit.

Books on the other hand, once I pick one up, I like to read them in one sitting, kind of like watching a movie. So, once I start, I usually don't stop till I'm done.

Played an XBox360 for the first time ever two months ago in Best Buy while waiting for a friend to shop.

Best thing I ever did with my time was give up video games.

MW2. Usually play from 12 am - 3 am each day.
I love it, and well I usually just schedule "gaming time" after all my work is complete, and three hours of gaming a day is more than enough to keep you entertained.

^ This. Except I'm 31 and - no shit - my last video game was the original NES with this guy:

I just never really got into video games.

Tried Guitar Hero twice and I seriously thought it was the most absurd thing I'd ever touched.

But to each his own.

FUUUUUUU video games ftw.

SC2 and Anime is taking over my time besides school :/. I worked on a new campaign in like 2 weeks. PROTOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Lately, my projects are getting in the way of my gaming.
Seriously, I have all these great games lined up, starting with Mass Effect, via Splinter cell up to Dragon Age:Origins, but the most I'll do is a quick FPS session, then back to work.

And for those keeping attention, yes, I have games waiting that are 1+ years old.

::emp::

Starcraft is eating all my time =(

On the plus side I'm now a Platinum player! That counts for something in the real world right?? right?!?

Yeah... I hope this beta ends soon

Get your shit off the ground so while you're wasting your precious life playing TF2 (my game of choice as of late), at least you'll know you're still making money while you squander your time.

I havent played any video games in years it seems. Time to crack out the...
