Geotargetting

Anyone know how to make a user go to a different URL Based on where he is located,

I need a code to insert into a page that will redirect US visitors to one page and everyone else to a different page.

Can you please paste the code in here so I can implement this, thanks!

You might check this out as well, it's a database for geo targeting. There is a pay and free version.

Terribly sorry Stanley, here it is. They have country and city databases, by ip numbers I believe. If you pay for it you get a more accurate version of the db.

I don't think it would be that hard, they have APIs for PHP and a bunch of otheres. Might not be to bad.

I think I set it up and had it working in about 15-30 minutes. I don't remember now, but it is easy to set up. Just upload it and set up the relevant code in your php files.

I couldnt get it to work with that tutorial. I got as far as importing it but it would cut me off with an error on line 1798

you used the php files?

I'm wondering if the time difference between the PHP module and the Apache module is significant. The apache module is supposed to be much faster, but it's harder to implement.. I'm not sure if it's even possible because I'm on a shared host.
