Why don't we get people on death row to help fix the nuclear problem in Japan? They could go right to the problem and fix under instruction. They might get radiation poising but would die helping 35 million people living in tokyo.
I think people on death row might want to help – it’s not like they have anything to live for and in th...e eyes of whatever they believe they’d probably be forgiven for their crimes.

Dumb because it's the obvoius answer? Workers are being restricted to go near the reactors. Get the convicts to do the dirty work.

They just need a few fire engines to pump water at them.
