OK, my first time swearing......sorry-but this sucked today.
I had a strange gmail chat from my son. He kept asking me if I had his bank account number and he couldn't remember his SS and would I give it to him because he couldn't find it. He told me he had to pay something. He kept pushing and finally stopped the chat when I repeated yet another time "only over the phone". I knew something was weird, even my younger kids know not to keep asking once I say no, the older ones DEFINITELY know that about me by now! I knew he wasn't even home and when I finally got a hold of him by phone, I found out he wasn't even near a computer the past two days!
The real creepy thing is the hacker chatted with my 11 year old briefly yesterday until she asked, who she thought was her brother "where are you?" and then the hacker stopped chatting with her.
The hacker attempted to get to his Paypal account by the looks of an email that requested a password change. When Bob called the number that says "if you didn't request the password change......" he found out Paypal shut down online access due to excessive tries at the password. He got on line and changed all passwords to anything that was even remotely connected to any emails that he had.
I feel like I need a shower and maybe before I chat with anyone I need to have a secret word we type in before starting any chats! lol
