OK, now that dullspace has had his fun, (Don't take it personally, he does this to lots of ppl!) let's examine why we're so concerned with your Full Sail degree...
I will not try to convince you anymore, but in 2 years, when I've graduated, we could have run the two same campaigns, and I bet mine would be more successful, by far... I will learn so much more in the coming months, then I could possibly learn on my own.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it is
POSSIBLE that Full Sail could give you a better start at the technical aspects of IM than many of us here have had. I myself am lacking when it comes to running profitable PPC campaigns and split-testing in general. This is shit that is taught in books... (Of course the tech changes often so the only way to keep up is to keep DOING them... Books don't help that much.)
However what many in here like myself have that Full Sail isn't able to sell you in any amount of time is a
profitable business strategy that works. We know it works because we make a positive money flow with it and we can repeat it. And repeat it we do.
How do you know that Full Sail will teach you anything close to that? And in case you were not aware; there is NO 'textbook example' of a profitable business strategy that works, because in the biz world once someone tells others their profitable business strategy, it spreads, gets diluted, and stops working, period.
Another thing. If Full Sail claims to give you a comprehensive foundation in all of the tools of IM, (like social marketing, PPC, copy writing, etc.) then you're already being overloaded with useless crap you won't need.
Think of your IM business as a recipe; there are 100 spices up on the rack, a freezer full of all kinds of meats and veggies, but the recipe you need to make your business profitable calls for exactly 3 spices & a chicken breast.
You're going to learn a SHITLOAD of stuff you won't use, period. It'll be like learning to recite war and peace just so you can know the name of the protagonist.
The bottom line on any course, anywhere, whatsoever, that claims to sell a degree in Internet Marketing is that they saw a way to make some more money by offering it; yet this time they can't possibly teach the proper lessons in order to make successful students.
Not that I believe ANY university degree is going to make a student "successful..."
