Going bald - what do?

Oh and wear a fedora/nice hat to cover it up. It works.

Wearing a hat to cover up baldness is just like wearing a "sweater" to cover up obesity. It doesn't change the reality of the situation.

The wuuuurst is when men with full thick hair shave their head!!!
UM HELLO leave your thick hair alone and show it off.

Drugs. I don't have any first-hand experience, but this thread (damn near 5K replies) is a pretty good read in your spare time.

My hair loss story and what you can do about yours (PICS) - Bodybuilding.com Forums

BUMP

after debating with myself and reading that thread religiously every other day, I decided to jump on propecia, minox liquid, and keto shampoo to save my hair. yes, I'm that vain that I risked losing my perfectly working dick to save what hair I have left.

on august 10th, day before I started treatment, took two different shots with different lighting

on october 26th, two shots with same lighting. (yes less than 3 months apart, been meaning to post but never got around to it. hair looks more or less the same as of right now, only cut shorter at the moment)

tl;dr = dick works perfect, zero side effects except from dry skin on edges of my fingers (the fuck? could be anything though), hair is slowly coming back, shit is money.

inb4 testicular pain tomorrow.
brb, looking for networks with hair loss offers to whore these pics out with.

When I noticed my hair started to concede against my forehead I started to shave my head to 3mm (0.11 inches) on a monthly basis, just like my beard. Never looked better. Shame I didn't start sooner. If it still bothers you, the answer is alcohol.

Most girls I know don't have a care in the world about baldness. In fact they joke about guys who make a big deal about it. Insecurity is what turns women off.

Attitude is everything.

How is it that you're grey in one pic and a ginger in the next? That doesn't happen from "different lighting."

not a ginger, the bathroom in this poverty apartment has weird yellow lighting for some reason. idk if it's the bulbs or light reflecting from the walls. kitchen does the same thing. pic on the left is the "normal" lighting.

i mean shit, can you seriously not figure this out from the different hues of my shirt in each pic? lol

Palm Fruit : The red palm oil extract

And I remember readying a decade ago about Nolvadex (anti-cancer drug commonly used by bodybuilders in PCT) reawakening dormant hair follicles. A quick Google turned up this as the top result, but it's just some bro-sceince forum that I wouldn't trust. Do more research if interested.

That is pretty noticeable, I though Propecia and others could only keep what you had? I use Keto shampoo as well, because I get some red itchy stuff around my hairline (where I'm balding). I looked at some pictures of myself 5-6 years ago and I always had a high hairline. I am thinning more than I am receding.

Can I ask your age?

Do you think Minoxidil and Keto alone will do anything?

I've got about the exact same baldness as the before and after photos. Tried Minoxidil drops for 3 months and all it did was make my head itch like hell. Could have been because I was sometimes doing twice the daily dose so don't overdose the stuff or your head might itch.

I skipped several days on it too. After reading up on it I shouldn't have done this. You have to use the stuff literally every day and keep using it every day even after your hair grows back or it will fall out again.

With all of that said Minoxidil does have a shit load of positive reviews on Amazon. It's worth trying if you don't mind your head being greasy every day (that was my other gripe about it).

I heard the foam stuff works well too and doesn't make your head greasy.

26 years old. Like you, I was thinning bad on top but my hair line itself hasn't moved much in the last few years.

Yes I believe it's worth trying Minox and Keto for at least 3 months and see how well it works for you. Because honestly, and this is just pure speculation on my part from my research, the results that I've experienced at this point are from Minox alone and maybe a little of the keto shampoo. From what I've gathered, Propecia doesn't really show results until 6-12 months in. You'll have a bad shedding phase before you'll actually see any regrowth. You'll also shed from Minox, and I did when I started, but it's already stopped at this point and I've went from having tons of hairs on my pillow upon waking, tons on my sink when running my hands in my hair in the morning, and actually having hairs get into my drain and clog it in the shower from shedding so bad, to almost shedding none at all as of right now.

I expect another shed any month now, this one being worse and from the Propecia, before my hair gets any better. Minox usually shows results anywhere from 4-12 weeks from what I've gathered, it ranges from not seeing any regrowth at all to seeing progress similar to mine.

And yes, both Minox and Propecia have the ability to regrow hair, not just maintain what you have. But everyone responds different so you won't know until you take the chance.

Also, I haven't been the most strict on my regime either. I aim for 2ml of minox daily (1ml in the morning, 1ml at night) but almost always miss the night dose, and sometimes even miss both morning and night. I haven't missed a Propecia dose (0.5mg every other day), but from what I've heard you can get pretty relaxed on those doses. The half-life is short, something like 6 hours, but the effect on the enzymes it targets can last up to 72 hours or longer.

Keto shampoo is once or twice a week.

What a pussy question. Shave that shit and man up!

I've never understood why a lot of guys stress about it. I mean if your looks and personality and everything else that makes you feel good about yourself and attractive to the opposite sex are dependant on your hair, you're probably fucked anyway.

Baldness and power study - Business Insider

Women are attracted to power, masculinity and dominance; all the things that are associated with an athletic bald man.

And it says bald men are considered considerably less attractive.

Sure, if you have your shit together, being bald may have exactly that effect on women, but if you're the average joe going bald, it is not going to give girls tingles when you reveal your mundane lifestyle.

I don't personally care that much, confidence and high self esteem - from knowing what you're capable off - is by far the most attractive quality to women, hair or no hair.

But all else equal then hair > bald.
