Good Accounting Software?

Anyone here using any good accounting software they can recommend? I'm on a Mac but also have a PC but I'd prefer doing the majority of my accounting related stuff on the Mac. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Been using QuickBooks Online for awhile now and have no complaints.

I'm sold - looks solid; now i'd rather not have to upload all my data from the last 5 months; would any of you trust hiring a VA to upload/reconcile all your data?

I've been exploring that site. You should be able to download your banking transactions in CSV format, and then upload them into Kashoo with no problem.

Do you have an accountant? If so, I would ask them which software they recommend. I use QBs because my accountant prefers QBs and it's easy to transfer my books to them.

QuickBooks is definitely the best, but Bookkeeper 2011 is relatively decent accounting software for 1/10 the price.

Ask your accountant, but more than likely you'll have to use QuickBooks. DO NOT buy the Mac version of Quickbooks though, it sucks and your accountant will hate you. Use the online service or fire up a Windows VM and run the Windows version.

LessAccounting AND Freshbooks. Not so robust that you have to spend lots of time learning, but not so thin that you wish it did more. Also, they integrate with a lot of other great web apps.

My accountant has no problems with my reports using quickbooks for mac.
