Good/Bad in declaring income to Girlfriend

EDIT: This rule applies even more if you're losing money. The Captain of the ship doesn't have to tell the passengers of every little, possible fuck up that may occur or have occurred.

To hell I agree with you 1000%! If you tell all the details your dead as shit! You'll be edited on how much is this, that and those. Why she has that gift which has low value compared to the shit you have. Tell her how much you made, give her the bank account passbook but don't tell her why you loose this amount from buying a software or hiring a service. Just give her the final report(Total income AND DON'T LIE ABOUT IT) not the Steps that you've done to make that report...

Same goes wit the Captain. The passengers doesn't need to know what happened or if the ship got a hole in front or 2 broken engines. As long as they arrive safely in their destination they don't need to know shit about what happen. They just know they arrived safe and sound

ya do it make sure she knows all of ur information so she can know u trust her

I usually hand over my debit cards on the 2nd date and by the first time we have sex I give her my SSN

How many debit cards have been stolen? Also how many stolen identity cases have you enccountered?

I've asked this question over and over. I get no good answer. I've said it before i'll say it again. You are what you eat.

You really gonna deny that money is in the top 3 for factors that influence how attracted a woman is to a guy?

It's

1) Money
2) Social status
3) Chemistry

Put yourself in the shoes of a single 24 year old girl and tell me these 3 determine how attractive a guy is.

Heck, if a guy has enough money and social status, a woman is willing to totally overlook lack of chemistry.

Tell me this ain't true!

If you're just another average Joe, then yeah. If you can't bring anything else to the table, then nature will take its course and those factors in that order will be all there is. However, if you just go ahead and be awesome, as mentioned in my earlier post, then that's a game changer.

Nobody is saying there aren't women out there looking for exactly that. Of course there are. And chances are good that if she is that focused on how much you can provide for her and what you can do for her socially, she's not the type to be able to take care of herself well enough to have an ounce of real self esteem. Date her? Sure. Marry her? Probably not. End of story.

I grew up with parents who treated each other as equal partners, even though my father made the larger income for a longer time. I can't relate to anybody who feels they can or should withhold the truth about their income from their spouse.

Bf & Gf -- it's different story while you're single, and you do what you have to do for yourself. But when you're engaged you need to lay all your cards out on the table and establish the trust. Marriage is a legal partnership, same as a business partnership, and if you don't have the trust in your partner it probably isn't going to work out.

That said, I don't know how anybody who files a joint tax return is able to keep their income a secret from their spouse. Don't you both have to sign the return?
