I go on movie watching binges for about a week at a time every two or three months. It's that time again and I'm having a hard time finding anything that I want to watch. I'd like to see Inglorious Basterds but it still in cams it seems. I watched Monsters vs. Aliens last night and that was worth a few laughs though typical Dreamworks animated drivel.

Anyone got any favorites in the last 2-3 months?

Demonoid and TPB are all messed up too :(
 


i thought Observe and Report was a pretty entertaining movie - not what you would expect it to be... i think it's fairly new to DVD.

Do.Not.Watch.This.Movie - Most definitely the worst I have ever seen.

Here's a list (not necessarily the last 2 months & you've probably seen alot of these):


  • Tenacious D and the Pick Of Destiny - Jack Black at his best.
  • EuroTrip - Fuckin' love this movie.
  • Orphan - Was pretty badass for the most part. Very solid.
  • Any horror movie by Rob Zombie - House of 1,000 Corpses is my favorite by him
  • Team America: World Police - Best comedy of all time
  • The South Park Movie - #2 best comedy of all time.
  • Ace Ventura 1 & 2
  • Yes Man - Another awesome Jim Carrey movie.
  • The Insider
  • Boogie Nights - Really good movie. EVERY SHOT is a dolly shot.
  • LA Confidential - One of the best
  • Wonderland - Val Kilmer movie.
  • Taken - Liam Neeson
...thats what I got off the top of my head.

Anybody ever see Whit Stillman's "Metropolitan"? I saw it this weekend and was totally blown away. One of the better movies I've seen in a long time. It's not an action film, no explosions, but if you want to see something original, give it a view.
